  1. It was designed in London by Gail Bryson.

Gail is an impeccable textile, graphic and product designer, based in East London. After training at Edinburgh College of Art, she developed her skills at The Conran Shop. Her clients include John Lewis and Jamie Oliver. Gail believes that good design will last the test of time, and she carries this notion throughout her work.

2. It was printed in Sheffield by printing experts, Bidbi.

Bidbi take pride their city’s manufacturing heritage, providing jobs for local people and supporting small businesses whenever the opportunity arises; such as if they were outsourcing finishing tags. They take their ethical commitments seriously and, like us, keep a totally transparent and trusted supply chain.

3. It’s made from Fairtrade cotton.

This means throughout the entire production of the fabric, from the farmers who farmed the cotton to the weavers of the material: high social, economic and environmental standards were met.

4. It’s also made from certified organic and unbleached cotton.

The cotton plants were grown without chemicals, pesticides and synthetic fertilisers; using methods that have low impact on the environment. Bleaching cotton is a heavily chemical process that requires huge amounts of water and energy, our cotton fabric is kept in its natural state.

5. It is one of the first ever products that Some Good Ideas is selling.

It is a truly original product. We have only made a small amount of these tea towels, 100 to be precise.

This way to buy our transparent, British made products.
